Barn Charm from my hometown

Another barn in my hometown.

These photos were taken on two different days.
One sunny, the other cloudy.

This barn has tons of character! Is that greenery in the first two photos growing in...or through the roof?

I love the "less than perfect" look. Distress and rust has so much character! Great shot!

These rustic barns have so much charm! I love the greenery growing next to and out of the roof of the first one.

I love this barn. What charm it has with the vine growing out of the roof and the old weather beaten boards. Beautiful photos! Pamela

Great shots. The opening to the barn is reminiscent of a covered bridge.

This one is so pretty. It's beginning to get a little rickety-looking, although that adds to its character.

This one has been around awhile and I'm not sure I would trust it but the farmer seems to think it still safe for storing the tractor and equipment.
Looks like it's in a lovely setting.

I love that construction on the part above the door...looks like some kind of cobble design! Very neat barn!

This is the best kind of barn and some of the details so familiar--like the logs laying along the foundation. Have no idea why. And is there anything prettier than natural weathered wood when it turns that silvery grey?
