Barn charm

This was a lot of work.  I've wanted to get this barn on "film" for a long, long time.  There is no place to stop the car except right in the short drive of the house and I am rarely the passenger when passing.  A few blurry drive-bys and I finally had an opportunity without traffic to slow down enough to get a decent shot.  Early morning to boot.

Now, to just get a spring, summer and fall shot.  There's always something else I want.

Your perseverance finally paid off. Love the placement of the tractor off to the side and perched on a slight hill. All this farmer has to do come spring is just take the brake off.

what a beautiful location. heaven. i'm really enjoying the view. but if it is right near a roadway - that is so sad. needs to be off in the back country - where it is quiet & peaceful.

what kind of weather are you having in your neck of the woods? ( :

Really a pretty scene, Amy! It would look wonderful framed!

Beautiful setting and the tractor is a nice addition! I know what you mean about barns that are difficult to photograph. We have lots of those around here.

I would love to have that hanging in my living room. Love it!

Lovely morning light! It is as others have mentioned in a lovely setting. The tractor sits waiting for the farmer to begin the day's activities.

A beautiful place for season's shots, for sure! Oh & one w/ snow, too... if you get snow there.
Look at that green grass, so pretty.

Thanks a bunch for joining, Amy =)

Very nice colors in a winter photo! This reminds me I need to get a winter photo of Daddy's barn. I have summer and fall already.

I sure understand why you want this shot. There is just something about the scene! Meant to comment the other day, but fooled around and didn't. Think I don't have a mind, sometimes.
