Red Barn Charm

Another visit to these barns.

A hazy drizzly day this time.

See a sunny day photo here.

The farm is surrounded by fields and you can't get close enough for me.

Unless you are brave enough to pull into their drive and knock on the door.  I'm not there yet.

I'm not sure how I managed to miss these great photos last week! But I'm glad I eventually found them.

There is something so visceral about these pictures. They are just wonderful

I feel these must be American barns. They look like my idea of classic America. Now you'll probably say they're in Brazil, or something!

beautiful barns. we don't have any close to us, we live in the city, not a big one, but barns are about and hour drive from us. the older the better and if gas were not 3.96 a gallon i would ride out to find one.

Even if it's a drizzly day the red barn stands out. I like all the different views you got of it.

The barn and it's surroundings are just lovely! I love that old silo. It sure looks like they had a good hay season - the barn is brimming over.
Beautiful photos!

The sky in your sunny day pic showed a really gorgeous day.

A very beautiful red barn! I always think silos make the farm scene even more special. I like the addition on the side that houses the large round hay bales. Great photos!

I'm with you on that one....I don't think I'd drive up and knock on the door to ask permission to get a closer image through my lens.

I just read your profile quote "Retirement is great!"....I agree.

FRUITS of my LABOR is the link for my Tuesday post...if you can find time, I'd love to have you stop by and keep me company!!!

Don't worry, Amy, I'm not there, yet, either! I've tried to get the nerve to do that, but just can't seem to... hehehe

Looks like she's bursting at the seems full of hay bales! The red really PoPs in contrast to the green grass, doesn't it

Thanks so much =)
