Stone foundation

Hwy 64 near Belvidere, Tennessee, U. S. A.

 . . . worthy of more than drive-by-shootings.
But, sometimes that's all you get on a busy highway.

Spring red

Do you have chromatic aberrations?  I do.
See the purple color in the tops of the trees?  I believe that is what that is called.
I have one lens that is bad about doing this.
It can be corrected in Lightroom, but I couldn't get all of it corrected without the barn turning psycodelic/holographic.

Another reason to stay out of bright sun.

Barn Charm 108

This place is in the next county over and I drove by it every day for many years going to work.  I have stopped at the farm for a yard sale before and talked at length with one of the owners so knew it was safe to stop.  I pulled in the drive here when I saw the sign for Pumpkins for Sale.  I don't need anymore pumpkins, but was willing to buy some just to get some photos.  I would have taken better photos of all the different features, but no one came out of the house or any of the buildings.  So. no pumpkins and only two shots from the car.

These photos were taken on two different days.
One sunny, the other cloudy.

Barn Charm #90, thanks to Dep

Another relative's barn.

We were there another day and I took more pictures.

 This one complete with Cardinal.

There are a lot of barns in my home town.
You just have to look.

Barn Charm 89, thanks to Kerry

Sharing with:

A friend of mine took me to her father's homeplace for a Barn Charm entry.

The barn was built by her Grandfather and his father so it might be 100 years old.

We didn't go all the way to the loft even though it looked sturdy enough.

Equipped with all the great rusty things an old barn must have.

The place is still owned by her family and a family member lives there currently.

It's a pretty place.
I'll share more later.

Maybe Kerry will share some of her shots at

Barn charm #87

This photo was taken from a friend's deck.  The barn doesn't appear to be very old.

Barn Charm 86

This barn is in my hometown and is the subject on one of the town's postcards sold in local shops.  It is not situated where you safely can get a shot from the road.   The owners are distantly related on my mother's side so we stopped one day and asked permission.

It's a beautiful place.

Charming barn and maybe its house

Somewhere in Jackson County, Alabama or extreme southern Tennessee.
This house is across the road.
I wonder if they go together?

"Someone fix me up, please."
